Attorney Scott Martin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Scott enjoys meeting people and has an exceptional ability to build relationships and create bonds with anyone he meets. As he was deciding what path he wanted to take, he wanted to find a career where his interpersonal skills could be combined with his love for reading and writing.
Scott went on to attend the University of Missouri for his undergraduate degree in journalism and the University of Missouri School of Law for his Juris Doctor. Scott excelled in all that he did and learned to be a part of a team, to represent something bigger than himself, and to compete as a student athlete as a member of the university’s swimming and diving team all while completing his undergraduate degree. He learned how to work under pressure, to work efficiently, and how to communicate his knowledge while working as an author for Missouri’s environmental journal while completing his JD. After his time in Missouri, Scott has moved back to Columbus where he lives with his wife and their two beautiful children.
Scott has extensive experience practicing domestic relations law and is one of our senior associates. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our firm and each case he handles. Scott has earned bar licenses in three states and has tried cases in a wide variety of courts including the 10th District Court of Appeals. It is not only Scott’s experience and knowledge that makes him a great attorney, but also his passion for working with people, hearing individual’s stories, and finding the right way to achieve their legal goals.
