Liyana Perkins is committed to providing thoughtful and dedicated legal representation to her clients. Liyana earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Bowling Green State University, before she went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2022.
Prior to joining the firm, Liyana served in the Juvenile Division of the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office. In that role, she gained valuable courtroom experience and had the honor of standing up for and seeking justice for victims of crime.
Liyana brings that same dedication and sense of purpose to her work at Barr, Jones and Associates, where she strives to guide her clients through the complexities of family law with clarity, compassion and advocacy.
Liyana spends her free time with her husband, dachshund Saydie and tortoise Frankie.
Liyana is currently licensed to practice law in Ohio.
