The legal process can be overwhelming, and my goal is to simplify that process so my clients can focus on their well-being. It is important to me that I know and respect my clients’ stories and help them understand their options and the effect those options will have on their lives and families.
I came to the law after a career as a high school teacher in south-central Pennsylvania, where I was raised. I was a single parent for most of my adult life, so I understand the reality of family law and how it impacts your life in a myriad of ways. As a former teacher, a mother of two, and an aunt to eighteen, issues regarding children are especially close to me.
While in law school, I was a member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review and a fellow with the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights. As a fellow, I was honored to spend time in East Africa as part of a team drafting legislation to combat acid violence in Uganda.
