Christopher Joel (“C.J.”) Nunley was born and raised in Northeastern Kentucky. C.J. is no stranger to the practice of law. During his undergraduate studies at Morehead State University, C.J. interned as a paralegal for the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, 37th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky. In that position, C.J. provided 120-hours of pro bono paralegal work for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

During law school at Northern Kentucky University, C.J. worked as a legal intern for the Ohio Justice & Policy Center. In that position, he utilized his limited license to practice law and dealt with legal issues that ranged from Eighth Amendment cruel and unusual punishment to violations of the ex-post facto prohibition. In 2018, C.J. started working as a law clerk for Barr, Jones & Associates LLP. While in that position, C.J. gained significant experience in working on complex divorces, child custody, child support modification, and CPO’s. Currently, C.J. represents clients in all areas of domestic relations law.
